I suffered a broken shoulder when I visited Barcelona at the beginning of May while being mugged. Two days later (on arriving home) I visited A&E at the Countess. I (like you) thought I'd had excellent service. I was told after a wait of 3 hours and an ex-ray I had no broken bones. Unlike you I was not given any advice on pain killers and my arm/shoulder was not put in a sling. Consequently I have been having physiotherapy for the last five weeks which appears to have done more harm than good!! Now after six weeks I have undergone an MRI scan which has revealed a broken shoulder and a "fragment of bone sticking up". I am to see a specialist on Friday.
