What a good rant... and how true. The American's sure seem to think that they were the ones who ended the war. They of course don't see any of the perspective that it had been going on for years before they showed up, and things were already starting to wrap up. Or of course the fact that all of those other countries participated. That being said, I'm sure the Americans think the entire war took place only on certain key beaches in Normandy and Brittany. Very fortunately for us, the American president decided just the other day that they are going to save the Europeans from economic meltdown. How very kind... they'll be the saviors again! Oh... wait... Japan, Switzerland, China, Canada, etc. have also said that they're going to pitch in as well. Fortunately the decisive and driven U.S. government has graced the rest of the world with their unfaltering economic policy! Hillarious!! What a good rant… and how true.
