Two in-flight entertainment features in Airline Entertainment supplement
I’ve had the pleasure of writing for Airline Entertainment magazine this month. It’s a UKIP publication, from the same team that produces Airline Interiors International.
I’ve written two features for the publication, the first covering in-flight content loading and delivery (how all the stuff you sit and watch on a flight actually gets there) and another feature on GUI design for IFE devices. There’s quite a few specific constraints when designing an interface for an IFE device and it was interesting to research something a little out of the norm for me. I’ve spoken to some great people from the likes of Panasonic, Thales, digEcor, Emirates, neutral.gs, Airborne Interactive, BA, Air New Zealand and more. If you’re into all things aviation, head over to the Aircraft Interior’s International website for more info.
