This January my technology writing has seen me writing six articles covering all aspects of Final Cut Pro for Video Focus magazine. It’s a specialist title aimed at semi-pro film makers and videographers who use the Final Cut editing software on a regular basis. My contributions included how to easily create a ‘skip bleach’ effect with Color, using the Multiclip editing function of Final Cut Pro, advanced export techniques with Compressor and the things to consider when editing dramatic footage.

I’ve done loads of video editing and articles covering the subject over the years but the subject of video editing has fallen off the radar’s of many magazines in recent years. It’s therefore been great to get back in the saddle again.

My articles will be in Volume 3, available in WH Smith‘s in the coming month or so. I hope readers enjoy them and find them useful.
